Terms
of Accommodation
BED & BREAKFAST
This could be also termed "Home Hosted Stay" as the accommodation
being offered is in a private Hotel/Motel styled accommodation.
You are treated as one of the family and our hosts, Alesi & George
Hadley, make your stay as pleasant and as memorable as they can.
Breakfast is served as part of the stay. Breakfast is from 7 am
to 9 am. Full kitchen privileges are available. Please clean up
after using the kitchen.
SINGLE TRAVELLERS
A single person pays single rate except where "Room Rate" is
specified. Twin and Triple rooms may be shared, please advise us
at time of reservation or check in. Visitors are not allowed in
the rooms. Affordable dorm beds are available (two rooms containing
three bunks each).
SHARED FACILITIES
Some rooms with private showers and toilets are available, however
most facilities are shared. Common rooms and lounge areas are great
places to meet new friends and share stories of your day's adventure.
AIR CONDITIONDED ROOMS
Several air-conditioned rooms are available the cottage. The cottage
also makes an excellent home for families or groups to let as an
ocean side villa. Most rooms in the old colonial homes are large
and airy, some facing the ocean.
CHECK IN / OUT TIMES
Check in any time after 2 pm and are asked to check out by 10 am.
Before 6am full day rate applies. After 6am a half-day rate applies.
Please reserve for an early arrival to guarantee availability. We
are happy for guests arriving early flights to leave their bags
at with us and return later in the day to check in. We ask you to
advise us at time of booking your arrival times so that your host
can be home to meet you and is not waiting around all day expecting
you.
OFFICE HOURS
The reception opens 24 hrs. The storeroom close at 9 pm. The office
and safe are open daily from 8 am to 10 am except Sunday. Please
do not leave money or valuables in your room, ask to put in our
safe. The front door is locked at 9 pm. The bar closes at 9 pm.
Please respect other guests by keeping noise down after 9 pm.
CHILDREN
Children are gladly welcome. Please contact your host should you
have any special requests. Child Policy (sharing with parent) Up
to 4 yrs, FOC; 4 11 yrs, Tala $12.50; 12 yrs and up, full
rate. Please note that these rates are applicable for children sharing
with parents only.
DISABLED TRAVELLERS
As the Inn was originally built as a private home over 100 years
ago, the Inn is not equipped for disabled travelers. Should you
have special needs that we may not be able to accommodate, please
let us know and we help you seek alternate more suitable accommodation.
If there are any special dietary needs please note this when booking.
KEYS
We have a $20 Tala key deposit. Please take your key with you when
you go out at night.
GOVERNMENT SALES TAX
All rates are subject to 12 1/2% GST.
LAUNDRY
We provide laundry services for a small fee. Please do not leave
wash out at night.
SHOES
Like most Samoan homes, we take our shoes off at the front door.
Casual sandals and comfortable walking shoes are good in Samoa.
Please take your shoes in at night.
SMOKERS
Please note that our B & B does not allow smoking indoors. Smokers
are asked to observe, these restrictions.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations must be secured with Visa, MasterCard or American Express
number or by full prepayment.
PAYMENT
Full payment is taken upon arrival by cash, check, and traveler's
check, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. A surcharge may apply
to special events or public holidays. You will be advised at time
of booking. Room rates include 12.5% VAGST tax.
CANCELLATIONS/AMENDMENTS
Cancellations may be made without penalty with more than ten-days
notice. Reservations cancelled with ten or fewer days notice will
be charged for any portion of the reservation we are unable to re-rent,
without exception. All amendments are subject to room availability
GROUP BOOKINGS
A deposit of a full amount of stay is required at the time of group
booking for 3 or more rooms We have a referral network that could
accommodate your needs. Should you wish, we can help you organise
your whole tour-transportation, accommodation and sight seeing needs.
