Easy access

From Faleolo International

Airport Bus:
We can arrange airport transfers or the airport bus will drop you straight to our door at Vaiala Beach just down from Palolo Deep Marine Reserve. View map

You may also come in with Schuster bus, or Jane's tours, or Aggie's buses if they have room. These buses charge only SAT $12 and are the best way into town. We will be here to greet you when you come in. Please let us know your flight number and arrival time.

Taxis
A flurry of taxis stand just outside the airport arrivals area. Taxi fare from the airport should be agreed before you leave and should be about Tala $40 (about USD $12) for the 45 minute ride into Apia. Bargaining is not common in Samoa, but another driver may give you a lower price. Samoa taxis have regulated fares but do not have meters. Taxis are good inexpensive transport, but the cars may be modest.

Airlines serving Samoa

Air New Zealand and Polynesian Airlines have regular international arrivals into Apia. Air Pacific has a weekly flight from Nadi, Fiji. Both Samoa Air and Polynesian Airlines have several flights daily from American Samoa where you may connect with Hawaiian Airlines.

As Air New Zealand flies direct to Apia from both Los Angeles and Auckland and Qantas has direct services with Polynesian Airlines, Round-the-World fares are good value. The main features of the Round-the-World fare include travel with any member airline and frequently include a stopover in Samoa.

Air Treks may also be worth a look for Round the World fares.

Wonderful place to spend 2 months. Extremely comfortable and affordable. Excellent staff — great personalities. Sometimes they would serve breakfast after nine, which is good if you sleep in. Very informative concerning island activities and sights.
